Wolfe farm
(1951). Vernon Wolfe harvesting alfalfa, using a Brady chopper to harvest alfalfa for silage. It was mowed and put in a trench silo.
(1948). The Noah Arbaugh Orchester. They played at church picnics; far right is the conductor of the orchestra. He played harmonica, a trombone, and other instruments.
(1942). Vernon Wolfe, Maurice Wolfe, Lillian Arbaugh Wolfe, and Ferdinand the bull, Holstein. They bought it as a calf from a purebred dairy herd from Sykesville hospital; around 1946, they started using artificial insemination on the farms.
