Digital Scrapbooks

HSCC holds a vast array of digital materials related to many different historical topics in Carroll County. Some of this digitized material, though historically important and interesting, is years away from being sorted, cataloged, and made word searchable. In 2026, to bring more awareness and accessibility to these materials, the Society decided to create “Digital Scrapbooks” as an online repository for these files. Like typical physical scrapbooks, there is no chronological order of display, no indexing, or curation of these materials. Still, HSCC is confident that many fascinating stories can be gleaned from these files from serious researchers and casual historians alike, and we hope to upload new materials several times per year.
